During the Schematic Design phase we will turn block
diagrams into actual floor plans and elevations. We
will establish room relationships and sizes, ceiling
heights, basic cabinet layouts, window sizes and
locations, bathroom and kitchen basic configurations,
etc. Floor Plans are drawings that demonstrate what
you will see if you were to cut your house 4'-0" above
the ground and look straight down. Elevations are
drawings that represent the vertical planes of your
house two-dimensionally. By the end of Schematic
Design, we will have an established direction for the
Design Development of your home.
